Interested in becoming a member of Wilkes Bridal Association?
The WBA is Wilkes County’s only association dedicated to assisting Brides and Grooms in finding wedding professionals in the area.  Our organization strives to encourage networking between its members in the wedding industry including but not limited to wedding professionals and venues.  Through membership the WBA instills vendor referral outreach, greater customer service to clients, and ethical practices by its members.

Membership in the WBA goes much further than just a listing on our websites.   The dues are much lower than most trade organizations.  Annual dues are $50.00 for one category listing and $25.00 per each additional category.  Dues are payable in full every July.

Here’s a partial list of what that investment buys you:

  • A portion of WBA’s dues income is designated for marketing projects.  As directed by our marketing committee, these initiatives have two primary objectives:  1) Campaigns in out-of-town markets promoting Wilkes County as a destination for weddings. 2) Raising awareness of the Association and its standards for members among potential brides and grooms.

  • Brides who may not know your reputation first-hand, especially those destination couples, association membership is a reassuring sign of your commitment to high ethical standards in your business practices.

  • The ability to grow your business at a greater reach through Association referral networking with fellow wedding vendors in a casual environment.

Central to Wilkes Bridal Association is our Code of Ethics, which every member must agree to follow.  The code requires that each member pledge themselves to honesty and integrity, to an understanding of their client’s needs, and to comply with the standards of the Association.

Should you have any further questions regarding membership or wish to request an application, please contact us at wilkesbridal@gmail.com or by calling Laura Blackburn, our membership officer at 336-902-3261.
